Our Team

Erich Wiernasz (BA, Cultural Anthropology, University of Connecticut) is Research Analyst at City Square Associates.

Erich studied at the University of Connecticut and also abroad at London's Goldsmith's College. As an undergrad, Erich worked as a Research Assistant for the American Friends Service Committee, a non- profit organization committed to the principles of nonviolence and justice and also as an assistant at Yale's Peabody Natural History Museum in New Haven, CT.

With a background in the humanities, Erich brings a unique perspective to the study of consumer behaviors and attitudes and sees great overlap in the discipline of Anthropology, ethnography, and marketing research. Erich is particularly interested in transformations across media—specifically the breaking of old models and the creation of new ones—and how those changes affect consumers.

At City Square, Erich is primarily in charge of project management, client/vendor relations, data management, video editing/production, and on site analysis during fieldwork. Erich has managed qualitative and quantitative projects in both the public and private sectors. Specifically, for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting [CPB], Public Broadcasting System [PBS], MacNeil-Lehrer Productions, WGBH, NBC Universal, ABC Family, Intuit, MTV Networks, and Comcast.
