Our Team

Erich Wiernasz (BA, Anthropology, University of Connecticut) is Research Manager at City Square Associates.

Erich studied at the University of Connecticut (Storrs), which is considered New England's top public university. He also studied in London at Goldsmith's College and worked as a Research Assistant for American Friends Service Committee, a non-profit organization committed to the principles of nonviolence and justice. With a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology, Erich brings a unique perspective to the practice of marketing research and strategic business consulting. Erich is particularly fascinated with macro level cultural trends and their effects on film, music, and other media.

At City Square, Erich is primarily in charge of client/vendor relations, data management, on site analysis, and project management. In conjunction to project management, Erich has designed and managed an ongoing online research survey for a local startup company to better understand their target consumer base and is exploring other methods of online qualitative research. Erich has also spearheaded a patent (pending) method of video editing and production that allows CSA to produce top quality videos of research conducted for their clients.

When Erich isn't speeding around Boston on his bicycle or cleaning his persistently dirty bike chain, he's either fumbling through a Balada or other troubadour compositions on one of his guitars (usually his travelling ukulele); milling flour for stone baked Naan; listening to music on big headphones; or reading a music blog in an effort to keep up with the ever shifting trends of independent music.
