Our Team
Kate Vandeveld (BA, Political Science, Wellesley College) is a Research Assistant at City Square Associates.
Kate studied Political Science with a concentration in International Politics at Wellesley College. She also studied French and Political Science at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in France. During her years at Wellesley, Kate worked as a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist at the Wellesley College Controller's Office and as an intern research assistant at Human Rights Watch. Just before joining CSA, Kate was volunteering at the Little Field Home orphanage in Malawi, Africa, where she taught English as a second language, organized life skills programs, and wrote grant proposal for new HIV/AIDS programs.
The newest member of the City Square team, Kate is primarily responsible for data entry, editing, and processing, as well as document editing and reproduction. She has had the opportunity to work with the CSA team on projects for NBC Universal and PBS, and looks forward to learning from and contributing to CSA's future research endeavors. Like Rachel, Kate is also a member of the BostonChefs.com team, for which she provides administrative support.
