Our Team

Rachel Linthwaite, (BA, Religious Studies, Skidmore College) is Research and Administrative Assistant at City Square Associates. Rachel studied at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY garnering a BA in Religious Studies with a concentration in modern evangelical Christianity. She also spent time at University College, Oxford through a study abroad program based in Bath, England. There she indulged her interests in history and English literature. She also spent time as an assistant to the associate director of Skidmore's Dean of Studies, helping with the daily maintenance of an office that primarily handled student academic advising and the oversight of various academic committees.

Although new to the field of professional market research, Rachel is all too familiar with the process of academic research, having spent her last year at Skidmore engrossed in a thesis project which utilized the ideas of philosopher Paul Ricoeur and literary theorist Wolfgang Iser to analyze the rhetorical devices of Rev. Jerry Falwell's apocalyptic sermons. With a strong background and interest in the liberal arts, Rachel brings a decidedly humanities-focused approach to the world of market research. Furthermore, with a summer-long tenure at Starbucks under her belt, she is confident in her ability to recognize consumer behavioral trends within a commercial setting and therefore deliver superior customer service, a skill set which will no doubt prove itself useful in her current position.

Having grown up on the north shore of Long Island, NY, Rachel is adjusting well to this recent move north. When not wandering around Boston exploring her new home, she can be found puttering around her kitchen, finding innovative places to store her ever-expanding array of unique culinary equipment (steamed pudding molds and pasta machines being perhaps the most often used) and attempting not to adopt every adorable cat which crosses her path.
